4R Lake: Doing your part with Lucas SWCD

Join us for a hands-on program where kids explore what pollutes our lakes and rivers—and discover practical ways they can help protect water in our community. Participants will get involved in activities that show how everyday pollutants affect our waterways, then leave with real strategies for keeping water clean. This program is led by Lucas Soil and Water Conservation District and runs for about 45 minutes. This is a great fit for elementary-aged children interested in science and nature. The program takes place in our meeting space, which is wheelchair accessible. If you have questions or need more information before bringing your child, feel free to contact the library directly.
