A Conversation with Author Hasan Dudar

Join us to meet Toledo native Hasan Dudar as he discusses his new book, *Carryout*, which tells the multigenerational story of an Arab American family running a corner store in Toledo. Dr. Gaby Semaan from the University of Toledo's Middle East Studies program will moderate the conversation, bringing expertise in Arab American cultural identity to the discussion. This event welcomes all ages and adults alike, making it a meaningful opportunity for families and individuals interested in immigrant stories and local perspectives. The evening runs from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., with a meet-and-greet featuring light refreshments during the final half hour. This program is hosted by the Toledo Lucas County Public Library in partnership with several community organizations dedicated to celebrating immigrant heritage and Arab American voices. Seating is available on a first-come basis, with 139 spots remaining.
