Adaptive Pickleball (Ages 14+)
Adaptive pickleball for teens—inclusive racquet sport at University of Toledo.
Adaptive pickleball is a modified version of the popular paddle sport designed to be inclusive for players of all abilities. This program teaches the fundamentals of pickleball—a blend of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong—in a welcoming environment where participants can learn at their own pace. Players use paddles and a lightweight ball on a smaller court, making it easier to pick up than traditional tennis. Expect friendly instruction, plenty of practice time, and a supportive atmosphere where kids and teens can build skills, stay active, and enjoy the social side of team sports.
