America 250 in the Planetarium
Planetarium show about America's space history at Bowling Green State University.
Your family can explore the intersection of American history and astronomy at this free planetarium program hosted by Bowling Green State University. Kate Dellenbusch, a physics and astronomy instructor, will examine how the Moon actually figured into Paul Revere's famous 1775 ride—moving beyond Longfellow's famous poem to explore the real science behind that historic night. The presentation runs one hour, followed by a planetarium show called "The Wright Way to Fly."
This event is part of a larger summer series celebrating American innovation and discovery through astronomy, history, art, and music. Admission is free for everyone, and parking is available on campus. If your family needs accessibility services or special accommodations to participate fully, contact the university's Accessibility Services office ahead of time to make arrangements.
