Animal Encounters

Your family can meet live animals at Discovery World's regular animal encounter sessions. These programs feature turtles, snakes, and other fascinating creatures that live at the museum. During each session, Discovery World staff guide visitors through the Great Lakes Future exhibit, introducing you to the animal ambassadors that call the facility home and sharing information about these reptiles and their habitats. Sessions run on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at three different times throughout the morning and midday. This is a great option if your kids are curious about wildlife and want to learn more about the animals up close in an educational setting. The experience is included with regular Discovery World admission, and the museum offers memberships for families interested in frequent visits.
