Animal Encounters

Your family can meet some of Discovery World's resident animal ambassadors during these regular hands-on sessions. You'll get up close with creatures like turtles and snakes in the Great Lakes Future exhibit, where staff share fascinating facts about these often-misunderstood animals. It's a chance to observe them in a real setting and learn what makes them such remarkable parts of our natural world. These encounters happen multiple times throughout the day on weekends and Fridays, giving you flexibility to drop in when it works best for your schedule. It's ideal for curious kids who want to experience animals beyond a typical zoo visit—this is more intimate and educational. Admission is included with Discovery World entry, so check the museum's current hours and parking information before you head over.
