Animal Encounters

Your kids can get up close with some amazing animals at Discovery World's regular animal encounters program. During these sessions, they'll meet turtles, snakes, and other creatures that live at the museum, learning fascinating facts about these animals and why they're so important. The experience takes place in the Great Lakes Future exhibit, where Discovery World's animal ambassadors help bring the natural world to life in an engaging way. These encounters happen multiple times throughout the day on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, so you can choose a time that works best for your family's schedule. It's a great activity for kids who are curious about wildlife and want to understand animals better. Admission to the program is included with Discovery World entry, and the museum offers accessible facilities for all visitors. Check the website for current hours and any parking information before you head over.
