Animal Encounters

Your family can meet live animals during these interactive sessions at Discovery World's Great Lakes Future exhibit. Staff members lead short programs featuring turtles, snakes, and other animal ambassadors that live at the facility. Kids get to learn about these creatures and understand what makes them special—it's a hands-on way to connect with wildlife without leaving Milwaukee. These encounters happen on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings at three different times throughout the day, so you can pick a slot that works for your schedule. The programs are included with general admission to Discovery World. Whether your kids are curious about reptiles or just looking for an engaging activity, these sessions offer a chance to observe animals up close and ask questions with trained staff. Check Discovery World's website for current hours and ticket information before your visit.
