Art and Arcana: A Museum-Inspired D&D Adventure with Tall Tale RPG

If you've got a family that loves games, creativity, and storytelling, this three-hour session offers a fun introduction to tabletop role-playing games with an artistic twist. Led by instructor Nick Scarff, participants will dive into a custom adventure designed specifically around the museum's collections and theme. You'll learn the foundational skills needed to create your own immersive gaming experiences, making this a great stepping stone whether you're brand new to RPGs or just curious about them. This ticketed event is held at the NCMA Café and costs $40 for general admission or $30 for museum members. The experience is brought to you by Tall Tale RPG, a local Triangle-based studio that specializes in crafting thoughtful tabletop adventures with professional artwork and design. It's a wonderful way to explore the intersection of games, art, and imagination in a museum setting.
