Authors! with Michael Koryta

Meet bestselling author Michael Koryta as he discusses his latest historical thriller, "Die Famous," set during the Great Depression. Koryta, a former private investigator and newspaper reporter, brings real-world expertise to his crime fiction. He'll share how his background in investigative work influences his storytelling, the research behind bringing 1930s America to life, and what drives his complex characters. The evening includes a 45-minute presentation followed by audience questions. Every ticket comes with a copy of "Die Famous," and Koryta will be available for a brief book signing after the talk. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with general admission seating (no assigned seats). The library offers free underground parking on Adams Street.
