Authors! with Susan Zurenda
Authors! with Susan Zurenda at Toledo-Lucas County Public Library
Meet award-winning novelist Susan Zurenda as she shares insights into her powerful third novel, *No Way Out but Through*. This evening event features a 45-minute presentation where Zurenda discusses her research process, including interviews with survivors, and explores the themes of resilience and vulnerability woven throughout her work. The presentation concludes with a question-and-answer session, giving you a chance to engage directly with the author. Best of all, your ticket includes a first-edition hardcover copy of the book to take home.
The novel itself tells a gripping dual-narrative story set in South Carolina and 1990s Oklahoma, following two women from different generations as they confront difficult truths and find healing through their connection. General admission seating begins at 6:30 p.m., and the library offers free underground parking on Adams Street. Accessible seating and American Sign Language interpretation are available with advance notice. After the presentation, Zurenda will be available for a limited book signing. Tickets are available online through Eventbrite only, and you'll need to bring your printed or digital ticket to enter.
