Babytime at Southern

Bring your little one to Babytime at Southern, a 20-minute early literacy program designed just for babies and their caregivers. In the library's kids' area, you'll enjoy stories, rhymes, lap-bounces, and songs together—all geared toward fostering a love of reading from the very start. This program welcomes newborns through babies who are beginning to walk. To make things easier for families with varying schedules, two identical sessions are offered back-to-back each week. You can choose to attend either the 9:30am session or the 11:00am session—whichever works better for your baby's routine. Just pick one session per week and let the library know which you prefer. The first group begins transitioning out at 10:30am to make room for the second group.
