Big Four Bridge Lighting Schedule

The Big Four Bridge, which stretches across the Ohio River and connects Waterfront Park to Jeffersonville, Indiana, hosts special lighting displays throughout the month. Each evening from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., the bridge is illuminated in different colors to honor various causes and occasions. This is a wonderful free way to experience the waterfront while supporting meaningful charitable efforts and community awareness. Throughout November, the bridge lighting changes to reflect different observances—from purple for Epilepsy Awareness Month to red, white, and blue for Veterans Day, and orange, red, and yellow for Thanksgiving. It's a lovely tradition that combines beautiful scenery with community spirit. The bridge is particularly special at sunset, making it an ideal spot for families to stroll, enjoy the riverfront, and learn about the different causes being recognized each night.
