Birding Pittsburgh’s Parks – Frick Park

Birding Pittsburgh’s Parks – Frick Park at Frick Environmental Center

Interested in exploring the world of birds? This guided walk is perfect for families new to birding or anyone looking to join a group of fellow nature enthusiasts. Led by Naturalist Educator Stephen Bucklin, the outing welcomes beginners of all ages. Don't have binoculars? No problem—pairs are available to borrow during the walk, so equipment won't hold you back from enjoying the experience. The walk runs for 90 minutes and meets at the Frick Environmental Center. Tickets are required to participate. Please note that photographs may be taken during the event for documentation purposes; let staff know if you prefer not to be photographed. If you need to cancel, your ticket purchase becomes a tax-deductible donation to the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy. For questions about accessibility or disability accommodations, contact the center directly. If weather or other circumstances force a cancellation on the Conservancy's end, you'll receive a full refund.
