Bookmobile Visit | Ashland Manor

The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library's Bookmobile will be visiting Ashland Manor, bringing the library directly to your neighborhood. You and your family can step aboard to explore a rotating collection of materials—books, DVDs, CDs, juvenile selections, and large-print titles. Librarians will be there to help you check out items, answer questions, and get library cards set up if you need one. Don't see something you want? You can place a hold and pick it up when the Bookmobile returns. Any items you borrow can be returned either on the vehicle or at any library branch around town. The Bookmobile is designed to accommodate visitors of various mobility needs, featuring a wheelchair lift and accessible entryway, handrails throughout, and aisles wide enough for comfortable movement. Keep in mind that the interior is compact and may feel crowded during busy times, and the space may shift gently as people board and move around. The vehicle is equipped with interior lighting and windows, though natural brightness and outdoor noise from traffic and weather may be noticeable. This event welcomes families of all ages.
