Bookmobile Visit | Luther Woods
Mobile library visits Luther Woods—books brought to your neighborhood.
The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library's Bookmobile will be visiting Luther Woods, giving families a chance to explore library materials right in the neighborhood. You and your children can step aboard to browse books, DVDs, CDs, and other items—including a dedicated juvenile section and large-print titles. Staff members will be available to help with library card sign-ups and to suggest reading recommendations. You can check out materials on the spot or place holds for items to pick up at the next visit. Returns are flexible too; you can bring borrowed items back to the Bookmobile or drop them at any library branch.
The visit is designed to be accessible for all families. The vehicle features a wheelchair lift and accessible entrance, with handrails throughout for stability. Interior aisles are spacious enough for easy movement, though the space can get busy. Keep in mind that the vehicle is fairly compact, and you may notice engine sounds, natural light variations, or slight movement as people board and exit. The temperature inside may also shift depending on weather conditions.
