Bookmobile Visit | Luther Woods
Bookmobile visit brings books to the community at Luther Woods.
The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library's Bookmobile will be stopping at Luther Woods, giving families a chance to explore library materials right in their neighborhood. You and your kids can browse books, DVDs, CDs, and other items, then check them out on the spot. The collection includes a dedicated juvenile section and large-print titles for various reading levels. Staff members will be available to answer questions, offer reading suggestions, and help anyone interested in signing up for a library card. If you find something you want but don't have time to borrow it that day, you can place a hold to pick it up at the next Bookmobile visit or at any library branch.
The Bookmobile is designed with accessibility in mind. A wheelchair lift provides entry through a dedicated accessible door, and the standard entrance has a lowered stairwell with two steps and handrails for support. The interior aisles are wide enough for comfortable movement, and the space includes overhead lighting plus natural light from windows. Keep in mind that the vehicle is compact, so it may feel crowded during busy times, and you might notice engine sounds or outside noise. Items you borrow can be returned either on the Bookmobile itself or at any Toledo-Lucas County Public Library location.
