Cheekwood Harvest
Cheekwood Harvest: pumpkin houses, scarecrow trail, and family fall fun at Nashville's gardens.
Cheekwood's fall festival transforms the 55-acre botanical garden into a seasonal celebration running through early November. Families can explore a brand-new Marigold River featuring thousands of colorful blooms, visit the charming Pumpkin Village with interactive houses and pumpkins to take home, and discover a Scarecrow Trail decorated with storybook-inspired characters created by local artists. Live music fills weekend afternoons from noon to 2 p.m., with a rotating lineup of bands playing everything from country to jazz—perfect for spreading a blanket and settling in for a picnic surrounded by fall foliage.
Beyond the main attractions, there's plenty for younger visitors too. The TOTS! program runs Tuesday through Saturday mornings with hands-on activities, storytimes, and interactive learning spaces. Guided tours of the historic mansion and grounds are available throughout the festival. Advance timed-entry tickets are required for all guests, and the venue may reach parking capacity during busy times. This festival offers a genuine autumn experience with activities suited for the whole family, from toddlers through adults.
