Child Care Provider Workshop: Exploring Nature with Young Children at TW Meeting Room
This professional development session is designed for child care providers who want to bring outdoor learning into their work with young children. The workshop introduces nature-based education, with a focus on trees and forests as gateways for environmental discovery. You'll explore hands-on nature activities, review age-appropriate books for children ages 1–6, and learn strategies for building early literacy skills through outdoor play. Participants will understand why outdoor exploration matters for child development and leave with practical ideas to implement right away.
The session earns 1.5 continuing education hours, making it a valuable addition to your professional credentials. Registration is required to attend, and spots are limited to 19 participants. This is an online event—you'll receive the meeting link via email once you've registered.
