Childbirth Preparation Class with Solace Health and Wellness
Expecting parents and their support people are invited to join this three-hour childbirth preparation class led by Solace Health and Wellness. The session explores essential topics across pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period—including comfort measures during pregnancy, informed decision-making for birth, understanding labor phases, newborn care, and feeding options. Community doulas will be available to offer personalized guidance alongside the group instruction. Since topics rotate on a three-month cycle, families are welcome to attend multiple classes as their due date approaches.
This free program requires no insurance and welcomes pregnant individuals alongside a support person of their choice (support people don't need to register separately). The class takes place in an accessible, first-floor meeting room with natural and artificial lighting, and staff can accommodate requests like voice amplification if needed. Eight seats remain available, so registration is encouraged.
