Colorful Creations Inspired by Yayoi Kusama: K-2nd Grades

K–2nd graders create colorful art inspired by Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama.

Your kids will explore the vibrant and imaginative work of Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama during this one-hour art program. Young artists in kindergarten through 2nd grade will discover what makes Kusama's style so distinctive and eye-catching, then create their own colorful pieces inspired by her approach. It's a great introduction to contemporary art for early elementary students who enjoy hands-on creative activities. This program takes place at the library and runs for one hour. Registration is required to participate, so families will want to sign up ahead of time to secure a spot for their child.
