Cork & Knife Culinary Camp for Young Chefs | Toledo, OH
Hands-on cooking camp for young chefs at Cork & Knife Provisions.
Your child will spend a full week learning real cooking skills in a professional kitchen run by experienced chefs. This five-day camp welcomes kids ages 9–13 and focuses on hands-on techniques like knife skills, food prep, kitchen safety, baking, sautéing, and seasoning. Rather than just following recipes, campers learn how food actually works, build confidence through practice, and tackle creative challenges in small chef-led groups. Throughout the week, they'll prepare foods kids genuinely enjoy making at home—from granola and muffins to dips and seasonal snacks—and get to taste their creations along the way.
The camp runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, with flexible drop-off from 8:30–9 a.m. and pick-up from 3–3:15 p.m. Everything is provided, including ingredients, tools, daily snacks, a recipe book, and a chef jacket to take home. Parents should pack a lunch for their child each day, as meals aren't included. The week wraps up with a fun Chopped-style cooking competition on Friday where campers create a dish with mystery ingredients for local judges, and families are invited to watch. The camp is phone-free, so devices are collected at drop-off. Cork & Knife can work with some food allergies and intolerances—reach out to discuss your child's needs.
