Crafternoon

Afternoon craft session where kids design & create take-home projects.

Looking for a creative way to spend an after-school afternoon? Crafternoon at King Road Library offers kids and teens a chance to make something unique while relaxing after their day. This free program provides all the materials you'll need—no prep or shopping required. Each month features a different craft project, so there's always something new to try. Depending on the month, your child might work with fuse beads, create duct tape designs, make jewelry, or try paper crafts and upcycling projects using markers and decorative tape. The program welcomes children ages 6 and up, making it a great fit for elementary and middle schoolers alike. Since spaces are limited, registration is recommended before you head over.
