Creative Time for Families: Make a Woolly Wish: Felting Rocks

Join Claudia Orjuela for a hands-on felting workshop where families create art inspired by nature and personal reflection. During this two-hour session, you'll write a wish or something you're grateful for on a rock, then cover it in layers of colorful wool using wet felting techniques. Whether your family stays for the full workshop or drops in for a shorter visit, you'll have time to work together on this creative project in a relaxed, welcoming environment. This November offering is part of Claudia's monthly Creative Time series running through December. Admission is $20 per family, with free entry for Lynden members. The workshop takes place at the Lynden Sculpture Garden's beautiful grounds, making it a great way to combine art-making with time in nature. Families with children of varying ages and skill levels are welcome—there's no experience necessary, just a willingness to get creative together.
