Cyanotype Prints

Create sun-printed artwork using cyanotype technique at Maumee Library.

Your family is invited to explore the creative magic of cyanotype printing at the Maumee Library! This hands-on art activity lets kids use sunlight to make one-of-a-kind prints. Children will arrange objects and paper, then harness the sun's natural power to develop their designs. It's an accessible craft that requires no prior art experience—just curiosity and a willingness to experiment with a classic printing technique. This program is designed for kids ages 6 to 10 and runs for about an hour and a half. The library's meeting room is handicapped accessible, and there's plenty of parking available if you need it. For questions or to learn more details about what to bring or any registration requirements, reach out to the Maumee branch directly at 419.259.5360.
