Emergency Preparedness: When the Lights Go Out

This workshop walks you through practical, manageable steps to ready your household for emergencies—whether a brief power outage or a more extended disaster. You'll learn straightforward strategies to protect your loved ones and build confidence in your family's ability to handle unexpected situations. Designed for adults, this one-hour session takes place in the Point Place Branch's large meeting room, which is handicapped accessible. There are currently 17 seats available, so registration is recommended. The library offers ample parking, including accessible spots, making it convenient for families to attend together.
