Exploding Pumpkins

Kids ages 6 to 10 are invited to combine art and science at this hands-on library program. Each child will carve their own small pumpkin, then use it to create a fizzy, foamy eruption—a fun way to explore a simple chemical reaction while getting creative with a seasonal craft. The one-hour session gives families a chance to try something different this fall. Registration opens September 4th, 2026, so mark your calendars if your child enjoys mixing creative projects with discovery. The King Road Library location is handicapped accessible and offers plenty of parking for families attending the program.
