Fused Glass Totem Workshop at Copper Moon Studio

Your child will create their own fused glass totem during this hands-on class at Copper Moon Studio. A totem is a personal symbol of connection—whether that's to spirituality, community, family, or something unique to them. During the roughly 2- to 2.5-hour session, kids will arrange colorful glass pieces and special materials like sparkly dichroic scraps, decorative stones, and stringers into their own tall, narrow design. An instructor will guide them through the basics of glass fusing and cutting while they work with precut shapes and simple patterns. All supplies are included, and minimal cutting experience is needed. Four size options are available (ranging from $75 to $165), each taking about a week to complete after the class. Kids ages 10 and up can attend; younger children need an adult present. Multiple time slots run from late October through early November. Registration is required, and note that good hand strength and coordination are important for using the tools safely. If a session fills its minimum enrollment, it will run; cancellations receive full refunds with at least 72 hours' notice.
