GardenView U-Pick Flowers
Pick your own flowers at GardenView — a fun outdoor activity for all ages.
Spend a summer afternoon creating your own fresh flower bouquet straight from the field. When you arrive at GardenView, you'll check in at the flower shop, grab clippers and a container (bring your own Ball mason jar or purchase a vase for $2), and head into the garden to pick from over 60 varieties of blooms. You'll find everything from zinnias and snapdragons to sunflowers and gladiolus. The $16 fee includes a complimentary bottle of water, and you can fill your container with as many flowers as you'd like. Since the garden rotates its plantings throughout the summer, each visit offers a different selection.
This activity works wonderfully for families with children of all ages—just make sure kids stay supervised while walking the garden paths. Dress for a real farm setting: wear comfortable shoes you don't mind getting dirty, bring sunscreen and a hat, and feel free to snap photos for your personal collection (great spots include the garden arch and flower mural). Leashed dogs are welcome too. You can pay with cash, check, Venmo, or credit card (small processing fee), and tickets are available on-site or online in advance.
