GardenView U-Pick Flowers
Pick your own flowers at GardenView—a hands-on spring activity the whole family enjoys.
Families looking for a hands-on summer activity will enjoy heading to GardenView's U-Pick Flower Garden, where you can cut your own bouquet straight from the field. When you arrive, you'll check in at the shop, grab clippers and a container filled with water, then wander through over 60 varieties of flowers—everything from zinnias and sunflowers to snapdragons and gladiolus. The selection changes throughout the season, so each visit offers something different. Once you've finished picking, return your clippers and head home with your creation. The experience costs $16 per bouquet, and a complimentary bottle of water is included.
Plan to dress casually since the garden paths can get sandy or muddy, and wear comfortable shoes. Children of all ages are welcome (they'll need adult supervision), and leashed dogs can come along too. Visitors can also browse the flower shop for pre-made bouquets, vases, and gifts. The farm accepts cash, checks, Venmo, and credit cards (with a small processing fee), and the grounds offer great photo opportunities—including a garden arch and flower mural—perfect for capturing memories of your outing.
