At GardenView's U-Pick garden, families can spend a summer afternoon cutting their own fresh flower bouquets to take home. When you arrive, you'll check in at the shop, grab clippers and a container (bring your own quart-size mason jar or purchase a vase for $2), and head into the fields where over 60 flower varieties are planted. The bouquet experience costs $16 per person and includes a complimentary bottle of water. As the season progresses, different flowers bloom, so you might visit multiple times and create something new each visit. The experience works well for all ages—kids are welcome as long as they're supervised by an adult—and the garden even welcomes leashed dogs. Wear comfortable, casual clothes and old shoes since you'll be walking through garden beds that may be sandy or damp. Bring sunscreen and a hat if you can.
