Garrison Ghost Walk

Join a guided lantern tour through historic Fort Meigs to hear ghostly tales around campfires within the fort's walls. According to staff and volunteers, strange lights, mysterious sounds, and apparitions of long-dead soldiers have been reported during the site's summer living history encampments—phenomena that remain unexplained. Your guides will lead you through this atmospheric experience as darkness falls over the fortification. Tours last about 90 minutes and depart every 15 minutes starting at 6:30pm. Tickets must be purchased in advance online (available September 1st) and range from $12 for children ages 6–17 to $17 for adults, with senior pricing at $15. The event runs rain or shine over outdoor, uneven terrain, so dress appropriately. This experience isn't recommended for children 8 and under. The latest tour slots (8:45pm and 9:00pm) are reserved for adults 18+ and seniors only. Bring your email confirmation; no tickets are sold at the gate. The proceeds benefit the Old Northwest Military History Association, which supports Fort Meigs' educational programs and historical preservation.
