Garrison Ghost Walk

Garrison Ghost Walk

Ghost stories and history at Fort Meigs on Halloween weekend.

Join a guided lantern-lit tour through Fort Meigs as you explore the historic fortification's spookier side. Staff and volunteers have reported unexplained phenomena at the site over the years—mysterious lights, strange sounds, and apparitions of soldiers from the past. Your guides will share ghostly tales around campfires within the fort's walls during this approximately 90-minute experience. The tour operates rain or shine across outdoor terrain, so dress appropriately for the weather. This event is best suited for children 8 and older and families looking for a mild Halloween-season adventure. Advance tickets are required and must be purchased online before the event (tickets go on sale September 1, 2026). Pricing is $17 for adults, $15 for seniors 60+, and $12 for children ages 6–17. Arrive 10–15 minutes early, as tours depart promptly every 15 minutes starting at 6:30 p.m. Bring your email confirmation; no tickets are sold at the gate. Note that flashlights aren't permitted—your guide's lantern provides all the light you'll need. This fundraiser supports the Old Northwest Military History Association.
