Garrison Ghost Walk

Join a guided lantern-lit tour through historic Fort Meigs as you explore spooky tales and mysterious stories connected to this War of 1812 fortification. Your guide will lead you around campfires within the fort's walls, sharing accounts of unexplained occurrences reported over the years. The experience lasts about 90 minutes and takes place outdoors across uneven terrain, so dress appropriately for the weather. Tours depart every 15 minutes starting at 6:30pm, with the latest tours (8:45pm and 9:00pm) reserved for adults and seniors only. Advance ticket purchase is required—no tickets are sold at the door. Tickets go on sale September 1st through the fort's online store. Pricing is $17 for adults, $15 for seniors (60+), and $12 for children ages 6–17. This event isn't recommended for children 8 and under. The ghost walk runs rain or shine, though severe weather may lead to postponement or cancellation (affected guests will be notified and refunded). Bring your email confirmation when you arrive, and remember that your guide's lantern provides all the light needed—flashlights aren't permitted.
