Ghost Tours at The Hermitage
Spooky ghost tours at Andrew Jackson's Hermitage exploring the historic estate's paranormal tales.
Step into the evening atmosphere of Andrew Jackson's historic home for a lantern-lit walking tour that explores ghost stories, unexplained events, and mysterious tales tied to the mansion, grounds, and Jackson himself. You'll spend roughly an hour and a half wandering the property after dark while hearing stories passed down through generations. Along the way, guides share interesting details about death, mourning customs, and superstitions from the late-Regency and early-Victorian periods, blending actual history with folklore and the unique character of this 200-year-old site.
Before the tour begins, you can grab a bite and a seasonal drink at Andrew & Rachel's Café, which offers Halloween-themed food and beverages. Tickets are $55 for members and $60 for non-members; tours operate rain or shine with no weather refunds. Each person needs their own ticket, and spots fill quickly. Tours run Thursday through Sunday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., with a maximum of 42 guests per tour to keep the experience intimate. Proceeds support the Andrew Jackson Foundation's preservation and educational mission.
