Guided Fossil Collecting

Bring your curiosity to Fossil Park for a hands-on morning exploring Ohio's ancient past. Expert geologists from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources will lead this two-hour session, starting with an informative talk about the state's Devonian fossil record before heading out to search for real fossils. It's a wonderful way for families to connect with natural history while learning directly from professionals who study these subjects every day. This program works well for kids and adults interested in geology and the outdoors. The event runs from 10:00 AM to noon, giving families plenty of time to participate without the whole day being tied up.
