Halloween Graveyard Walk

Join us at St. Alban's Cemetery for a unique Halloween celebration that's more curious than creepy. Local volunteers will dress as former community members—from firefighters and store owners to senators and hop growers—and share the stories of how these individuals shaped our area's history. As you wander through the cemetery, you'll meet these "souls" and learn about the diverse people buried there, making it an engaging way to explore local heritage while having fun. This family-friendly event includes treats and small trinkets to take home as you complete the walk. We ask that families bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Sussex Food Pantry. It's a wonderful opportunity for children to connect with history in a lighthearted, educational setting—spooky in spirit but welcoming in tone.
