Hand-Sewn Stuffies with Alexis Norris
Hand-sew your own stuffed animals with artist Alexis Norris at Heatherdowns Library.
In this one-hour workshop, teens will learn foundational hand-sewing skills while working on a beginner-friendly project. Under the guidance of instructor Alexis Norris, participants will stitch together a small plushie that they can take home when the class ends. It's a great introduction to basic needlework techniques in a supportive group setting.
This craft program is designed for teens ages 11–17 and takes place in Meeting Room C at the library. Twenty spots are available, so interested families should register ahead of time. No prior sewing experience is necessary—just bring a willingness to try something new and take home a handmade creation you've made yourself.
