Herb Gardens for Teens with Sow and Reap Gardens
Teens grow and tend herb gardens with Sow and Reap Gardens at Main Library.
Teens interested in growing their own herbs will love this hands-on workshop at the Main Library. Led by experienced gardener Felicia Roberts-Dunston, participants will discover how to successfully cultivate culinary herbs and get practical tips for keeping them thriving. Best of all, everyone takes home their own planted herb container—a perfect starter project for a teen gardener or a nice addition to a kitchen windowsill.
The session runs for one hour and is specifically designed for teens ages 11–17. Space is limited with only 10 seats available, so families should register soon to secure a spot. This is a great way for young people to explore gardening, learn about growing food at home, and gain confidence with a plant they can actually use in cooking.
