Honeysuckle Removal
Teen-led invasive species removal project protecting native plants at Winton Woods.
This is a community service event focused on invasive species removal. Families will learn about honeysuckle—an aggressive non-native plant—and work together to remove it from local trails. It's a hands-on way to help restore the natural ecosystem at Winton Woods while spending time outdoors. Participants typically use simple tools and work in small groups. It's educational, physically engaging, and makes a real difference for the park.
