'Honoring All Who Serve'
Denison Symphony Orchestra celebrates service with a new premiere in a patriotic concert for families.
This special concert celebrates those who serve our communities, featuring the Denison Symphony Orchestra under conductor Philip Rudd. The program includes the world premiere of a new symphony composed by Ching-chu Hu to honor F. Trevor "Trig" Gamble, a notable figure in Denison's history. The piece was commissioned by the Granville Historical Society. Baritone soloist Harris Ipock will perform as a guest artist, adding vocal depth to the instrumental work.
The event is completely free to attend and no tickets are required—just show up and enjoy. It's a wonderful opportunity for families to experience live orchestral music while learning about community service and local history. Whether you're a classical music enthusiast or simply curious about what the symphony offers, this premiere performance welcomes everyone.
