Inclusive Mixed Media Art with Molly Miller

Inclusive Mixed Media Art with Molly Miller

Inclusive mixed-media art workshop with local artist Molly Miller.

Your child will get to be the artist at this hands-on creative session led by Molly Miller. Everyone creates their own mixed media artwork with step-by-step guidance, and all supplies are provided. This program welcomes school-age youth of all abilities, with special modifications and adaptive tools available for children with intellectual or developmental disabilities—think paintbrush grips and adaptive scissors upon request. Support persons are encouraged to attend and should register as well. The one-hour session takes place in Meeting Room A&B at the library. Keep in mind that the activity involves various textures, scents, and messy materials, so kids should wear clothes they don't mind getting dirty. The space has moderate lighting, may include background music, and features carpeted floors. If your child needs specific accommodations or has sensory considerations, the library asks that you call Public Services at 419-259-5293 at least two weeks ahead to arrange them. The venue is accessible with nearby restrooms and allows light snacks and drinks in the room.
