Independence Day Celebrated with Music, Games, & Fireworks

Maumee's annual Independence Day celebration brings together live music, family activities, and fireworks for an evening of festive fun. The event runs from 5 PM to 11:30 PM, with live bands performing throughout the night—Distant Cousinz, Beef Carvers, My 80s Vice, and Arctic Clam keeping the energy high. From 5 to 9 PM, families can enjoy classic carnival games, putt-putt golf, giant inflatables, an obstacle course, and a slide. Seventeen food trucks will be on-site serving both sweet and savory options, plus beer and soda trailers for adults. Around 10 PM, the traditional fireworks display lights up the sky. If you're an adult, you can grab a beverage from local bars and restaurants participating in the outdoor refreshment area and enjoy it while exploring Uptown. Just note that several street closures will be in effect starting at noon to ensure safety, so plan your arrival accordingly.
