Indianapolis Jazz Collective | The Saxes of the Jimmy Coe Big Band | All Ages

The Indianapolis Jazz Collective is bringing live jazz to the Broad Ripple area with a special focus on the saxophone traditions from Indiana's rich musical past. The evening features three accomplished saxophonists—Rob Dixon, Sean Imboden, and Jared Thompson—backed by a full band including piano, bass, and drums. Doors open at 5 p.m., with the performance beginning at 6:30 p.m. This is a family-friendly event, so younger listeners are welcome. Kids under 21 need to be accompanied by an adult and can order from the dinner menu, though they won't be able to sit at the bar. It's a great opportunity for families to experience live jazz in an intimate setting while learning about an important part of Indiana's musical legacy.
