Intergenerational playgroups

Bring your little ones to connect with older adults in a welcoming, relaxed setting designed for everyone to enjoy. These monthly playgroups feature a consistent, comfortable structure: a hello song, simple craft, themed activity, free play, and a goodbye song. As children interact with residents, they'll naturally develop patience, respect, and social skills while experiencing how joy spreads across generations. The relationships that form through regular attendance are what make these gatherings truly special—residents look forward to seeing familiar young faces, and children light up the day simply by being themselves. Sessions run monthly through December, with four dates to choose from. Registration is free and open to all ages. While we encourage signing up for the entire session so residents can build relationships with regular visitors, you can indicate which dates work best for your family during registration. If you're interested in extending the experience, you can also join the Lake Country Mom Movement for a coffee meetup and short walk to and from the facility before or after playtime. Questions?
