Junior Chefs: Parents and Children Cooking Together
Parents and children cook together, learning essential culinary skills at Cincinnati Museum Center.
Your child and a parent or caregiver can dive into hands-on cooking together through Cr(eat)e Culinary Studio's Junior Chefs classes at Cincinnati Museum Center. Each two-and-a-half-hour session focuses on building real kitchen skills—from kneading dough and sautéing vegetables to mastering proper techniques—while preparing a complete meal to enjoy together. Classes rotate through different cuisines and comfort foods throughout the fall and winter, including gnocchi with brown butter and sage, chicken pot pie, homemade burgers with all the fixings, tikka masala, and more.
These classes work best for kids ages 7 to 18 who are ready to get their hands in the kitchen alongside an adult. The price covers admission for one child and one adult caregiver, making it a special bonding experience. Each class includes all the ingredients and instruction you'll need, plus allergen information is provided so you can make informed choices. If a session fills up, you're welcome to check back in case spots become available.
