Junior Paleontologist Program
Junior paleontologist program exploring fossils at Falls of the Ohio, ages 6–13.
Young fossil enthusiasts ages 6–13 are invited to explore the natural history of the falls area through hands-on learning. This one-hour classroom program uses a guided activity booklet to introduce kids to paleontology in an interactive way. It's designed for the same age group as the popular Lewis & Clark Junior Ranger program, making it a great fit for families already exploring the park.
The program costs just $7 per participant, and thanks to support from the Falls of the Ohio Foundation, this fee also covers admission to the exhibit gallery. Your child will have the chance to learn about fossils while discovering more about this unique local landscape. It's an affordable way to spark curiosity about Earth's history while spending time at the park.
