Kentucky Veterans Parade

Head to the NuLu District to honor the men and women who've served our country. This celebration runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. along E. Market Street, featuring a parade that travels from Campbell to Hancock. Between the parade and festivities, you'll find local shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions throughout the neighborhood—perfect for making a full outing of it with your family. Kids will love the "Touch a Tank" interactive experience, where families can get up close to actual military vehicles, including jeeps and a tank. Meet with veterans who operated these machines, snap photos, and explore the vehicles hands-on. After the parade concludes, there's a special flag-blessing ceremony honoring those who've served. The whole event is free, making it an accessible way to spend time together while celebrating community heroes. The community is also invited to nominate veterans for special recognition during the parade procession.
