Kohl's Design It! Lab Open

Families visiting Discovery World can enjoy hands-on creative time at the Kohl's Design It! Lab, where kids and adults work together to make projects to take home. You'll browse a selection of rotating design options and receive guidance as you create your piece. Most projects wrap up fairly quickly—typically between 5 and 20 minutes—so it's perfect for families with varying attention spans. The best part? This activity is included with your general admission ticket, with the last opportunity to start a project at 3:15 pm. The lab operates on weekend mornings and afternoons, making it an accessible weekend outing for Milwaukee families. Whether your kids are into crafting or you're looking for a creative break during your museum visit, this is a low-pressure way to make something special together. No advance registration or separate ticket is needed beyond your general admission.
