Lake Michigan Divers
Watch Lake Michigan fish being fed underwater at Discovery World's weekly live exhibit.
This is a weekly recurring program at Discovery World's Lake Michigan exhibit. Every Wednesday morning, trained divers perform underwater demonstrations in an 85,000-gallon tank, caring for and feeding the resident sturgeon. The feeding happens at 10:00 am during the 9:30–11:00 am window. Your family will observe Lake Sturgeon, Bass, Yellow Perch, and other species that live in Lake Michigan and Wisconsin's local waterways. These fish serve as ambassadors, helping visitors connect with the real wildlife in our own backyard.
The Lake Michigan Tank is part of Discovery World's larger aquarium experience, so you can explore additional exhibits during your visit. This program works well for curious kids who enjoy watching animals up close and learning how aquariums care for their residents. Note that dive times may occasionally change, so it's worth confirming before you go. General Discovery World admission applies.
